...These kittens are getting pretty damn mobile. They're gonna be all over the freaking place soon.

Anyway, why the hell's it so quiet tonight? Even the sea's quiet, there ain't a shitty breeze or nothing. S'weird. Anyone wanna drink or something? I was thinking of...I dunno, making cookies maybe. Possibly. Who knows.

Either way, I'll be in the galley.

I think she just wanted some time away to think, and to get her mind off of things. She told me she's been thinking a lot about....well, lately, wondering what things would be like if she hadn't died, and...that kind of stuff. What-ifs. And. ...I guess worrying about the future and...all of US dying.

...yeah. I mean. I think it was her birthday that started it. And...her deathday is coming up, so...

And she just found out about Lucci and how he...you know. That he probably won't live to be really OLD, so...I'm sure that didn't help either.

Mmhmm.

...I hope not. So I think that's part of why she wanted to go away, so she could...try and sort it out and not have to feel like she was bringing everybody down or something. It just sucks because there's not really much I can DO, you know? I want to help, because I don't like her feeling like this, but I can only really...listen, and talk to her about it if she wants to, or...distract her.

...She's usually pretty straightforward about that kinda thing, isn't she? It's just...I mean, I hope she's fine, because there really isn't a...solution? I guess. You know? So. It sucks, because if I were in your shoes I'd kind of be at a loss.

I...guess we just have to see how things go. She said she didn't think she'd feel like this forever or anything, and I believe her. I just...dunno how much time it'll take for her to start feeling better again, you know?
