I now present to you...

THE AWESOME BIRTHDAY PARTY LOG OF BIRTHDAY AWESOMENESS~

What started out as a ~SURPRISE~ joint birthday party for Usopp and Tamaki has since exploded to include Luffy, Mori, and EVERYONE ELSE WHO HAS A BIRTHDAY IN APRIL AND MAY!! Welcome to the Straw Hat Crew and Company's ships, the Thousand Sunny and the S.S. Haruhi the Second! The party spans both of them and the decorations are designed to reflect the season. Enjoy the beautiful sakura trees that grace each ship's decks, spend time beneath the lanterns and twinkling lights, and come dressed in your best yukata!

There's a banquet fit for a king - or several kings, this is Luffy's party, too, after all - and don't ask how it got there because Sanji still can't cook properly, BUT ENJOY THE FOOD ANYWAY. The dessert table is a sight to behold, there's gotta be at least fifteen cakes on that thing...

So eat, drink, be merry, and most importantly, HAVE FUN!!!

Lucci was not enjoying the party, necessarily, so much as the fact that a party would almost certainly lure Luffy out of hiding. He had a good feeling about it, and while Lucci never trusted a feeling, good or otherwise...it seemed to be the time to pick up the habit. He didn't have anything else to go on.

He leaned against the railing, counting on the fact that if Luffy did emerge, the inevitable ruckus would alert him.

Kaku was standing next to Lucci, actually, looking completely unassuming. Or at least, as unassuming as he could be. He looked over as Sanji called out to Lucci, and smiled.

Lucci paused to suppress his first impulse, which was to scowl and look away.

Happily, I'd wager. *grins a bit, coming over to hop up and sit on the rail beside he and Kaku* Feeling alright? You're not about to keel over and die or anything, are you?

*leans back, looking past Lucci to give Kaku a quick smile* Yo, Kaku.

"I'm perfectly fine, thank you," said Lucci, who wasn't. Although, truth be told, he was feeling a bit better at the prospect of getting his leopard back. He gave Kaku a meaningful glance, knowing that he was still worried.

Kaku raised his eyebrows in curiosity, detaching himself from the fact that he knew Lucci was far from 'fine'. Ah well, that would be changing shortly.

All sneaking suspicions on Lucci's part were banished by a sudden sense of trepidation. "...Is that so." He kept his voice level with an effort. "You wouldn't happen to know who has it now?"

I might. *taps the ashes off his smoke absently* Luffy was ransacking the kitchen earlier. Guess he got tired of eating raw fish... And I had dinner cooking-- *falters slightly, going shifty-eyed* Well...a failed attempt at dinner, anyway, but that's beside the point.

*looks back at Lucci* He was irritating the crap out of me, so I had to get him out. *might be dragging this out for his own amusement*

Unfortunately for Lucci, the wrong D spotted him first. Ace put on his orange, yellow and red brightly colored yukata over the broad shorts he had been wearing and upon seeing Lucci waiting, pounced. "Lucci!" Ace sported a giant puppy-like grin. "Have you seen Lu yet?"

"Yeah!" Ace spun around showing off the bright flames. "Nice isn't it?" he grinned evilly. "Not as nice as your fish I guess but more suiting to me. And it goes with my hat!"

Fire-fist giggled happily at that. "I like orange!" he protested, "It's my favorite." He was tempted that add that Lucci looked girly but refrained. "Besides, you have to admit. It's definitely one of a kind!" Between the red beads that matched his necklace and the Greek drama mask faces, the orange cowboy hat was the only one in the world like it. And it might have been because he was trying to outdo his brother's Straw-Hat from Shanks but like hell he'd admit it.

"You wear a hat too!" Ace pointed out before adding slowly, "Are you threatening to destroy my hat or the yukata?" He was worried for the hat, he didn't even know how it survived the fight with Blackbeard and large suspected someone had merely duplicated it for him later. Portgas didn't give a damn about the yukata though. He was probably going to take it off halfway through the night anyway. It was hot. And weird to move in.

"Can we burn it?" he grinned evilly more for the fun of burning things than any hatred of the clothing. He paused at the hat comment, "When your chest looks this good, you don't need shirts," he smirked even more. "But I need my hat. I freckle too much otherwise." And he already freckled a lot.
