THE AWESOME BIRTHDAY PARTY LOG OF BIRTHDAY AWESOMENESS~

What started out as a ~SURPRISE~ joint birthday party for Usopp and Tamaki has since exploded to include Luffy, Mori, and EVERYONE ELSE WHO HAS A BIRTHDAY IN APRIL AND MAY!! Welcome to the Straw Hat Crew and Company's ships, the Thousand Sunny and the S.S. Haruhi the Second! The party spans both of them and the decorations are designed to reflect the season. Enjoy the beautiful sakura trees that grace each ship's decks, spend time beneath the lanterns and twinkling lights, and come dressed in your best yukata!

There's a banquet fit for a king - or several kings, this is Luffy's party, too, after all - and don't ask how it got there because Sanji still can't cook properly, BUT ENJOY THE FOOD ANYWAY. The dessert table is a sight to behold, there's gotta be at least fifteen cakes on that thing...

So eat, drink, be merry, and most importantly, HAVE FUN!!!

"Ace, your hat is the color of protective hunting gear," Lucci said flatly. "Not everything has to have a theme."

Fire-fist giggled happily at that. "I like orange!" he protested, "It's my favorite." He was tempted that add that Lucci looked girly but refrained. "Besides, you have to admit. It's definitely one of a kind!" Between the red beads that matched his necklace and the Greek drama mask faces, the orange cowboy hat was the only one in the world like it. And it might have been because he was trying to outdo his brother's Straw-Hat from Shanks but like hell he'd admit it.

"One day, I'll find out what it is with you people and headgear," Lucci remarked. "If you wear it again after this, I may be forced to destroy it."

"You wear a hat too!" Ace pointed out before adding slowly, "Are you threatening to destroy my hat or the yukata?" He was worried for the hat, he didn't even know how it survived the fight with Blackbeard and large suspected someone had merely duplicated it for him later. Portgas didn't give a damn about the yukata though. He was probably going to take it off halfway through the night anyway. It was hot. And weird to move in.

"The yukata. You may keep the hat, but only because I can't have you looking presentable as well," Lucci said, smirking.

"Can we burn it?" he grinned evilly more for the fun of burning things than any hatred of the clothing. He paused at the hat comment, "When your chest looks this good, you don't need shirts," he smirked even more. "But I need my hat. I freckle too much otherwise." And he already freckled a lot.

"There's something to be said for leaving things to the imagination," Lucci pointed out, and then, as an afterthought, added "I like freckles."

Ace smirked deviously. "Yeah? You know I have freckles more than on just my face." How was that for leaving things to the imagination?

"You are not subtle," Lucci said mildly, leaning back against the ship railing. "I'm aware, by the way. I've seen you at least three fourths naked."

"Subtlety is not something that runs in my family," Ace grinned, "And if you've ever met Jii-jii I'm sure you know that too." Ace examined his arms under the rolled up sleeves. "Yeah, so do you like freckles on more than just the face?"

"Oh, how well I know that," Lucci muttered under his breath. "I do," he added, out loud. "Kaku has lots of them."

"Hah," Ace continued grinning, "I should have known."

"Can you blame me?" Lucci asked, smirking.
