Hm, I think it is more complicated, actually... Something to do with if it’s a flowering plant, then what it produces count as fruit...maybe. The seeds thing is just one way to think of it. Tomatoes are a fruit, too, did you know?

*a muffled shuffling sound and a small laugh* ...well. Actually. I'm just right across the hall.

*exits Zoro and Luffy's room, a tape measure in hand, and crosses the hall to his and Sanji's room, hanging up the Dreamberry and giving a sheepish wave* Hi. I was trying to figure out putting a new window in there. *shrugs a little helplessly* Maybe I could do two smaller ones instead of one big one. That seems easier.

*reaches up to rub the back of his neck* I thought they were a vegetable.

[lounging on his bed as Usopp walks in, and just kind of tips his head backwards to look at him upside down] Oh. Hey. [hangs up his Dreamberry, too] I thought we were mostly done with repairs? [and of course, by we he means you :|]

*jeez Sanji, Rome wasn't built in a day. especially with minimal help :|* Well, all the basic stuff is done, sure. *flaps a hand dismissively* But I mostly just covered the hole in there, you know, kinda put up a new wall? So they don't have a window anymore.

*tosses the tape measure on his bed, along with a piece of paper with the measurements written on it* Anyway. Apples? Ready whenever you are.

Do they need a window? It could be like sleeping on Merry again. [forces himself into an upright position, absently dragging one hand through his hair and reaching for his tie—which was hanging haphazardly off the end of the bed—with his other] Yeah, apples. I'm up, I'm up.

[reaches for his shoes next, but then pauses abruptly and looks up at Usopp] Oh, hey! I didn't tell you! I totally have a date later today with this girl I don't even know! [and actually, it's really only a date in his mind -- Aerith is just being kind enough to show him her vegetable garden, BUT PSHAW, DETAILS]

*shrugs* Maybe not. I kind of like having one though, so I figured...

*grabs his awesome manpurse but pauses before he can loop the strap over his head, looking at Sanji with an odd expression. obviously he heard that wrong* Wait, you what?

You're not living in there, though. [IS SO CONSIDERATE]

[stupid grin] I have a date! [hops off the bed and goes over to his closet, browsing through what minimal new clothing he's managed to get here] ...And none of these shitty clothes are gonna cut it—fuck, I miss my wardrobe. [pulls out a random shirt and frowns down at it]

*slowly finishes putting on his bag, raising one eyebrow*

*a long pause*
