Not pathetic. They're a hell of a lot less weak than like...a mouse or something. And they're really fast runners! They're one of the animals of the Chinese Zodiac. One out of every twelve people is technically a rabbit. And yes, they're cute.

There's a legend in China, a country in my world, that god invited all the animals to a banquet for...some reason, and the order in which they arrived decided the order they would be on the calendar. The rat tricked the cat into thinking it was the next day, so the cat didn't get to be in the calendar. Then the rat was first because he rode on the ox's back. So the order was Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Sheep, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, Pig. I was born in the year of the Ox.
