The cannons are all ready to go, too. I'm pretty sure we'll have to use them; even if we manage to avoid fighting, we're still gonna have ships on our tail.

Well, a scythe isn't exactly a traditional or practical weapon - when villages stage uprisings, they use scythes as weapons by turning them into things other than scythes. But this...it's a unique design. I think it could take some practice to get used to, but it's good; definitely light enough, and it seems very strong. And sharp. It's a good fit for her, I think, especially because her natural reach is so short. ...And yes, I would like to try it, if you wouldn't mind. Have you got anything I could test it on?

Yeah, I was kind of thinking that--well. I thought you and Zoro could probably help her learn how to use it better, but I don't think there's really gonna be time, so...here's hoping it'll still be okay. Anyway, um. There's a straw man I use for target practice sometime; I guess that would work? I can get a new one.

...So am I. I did everything I could to make her feel more at ease, and I'm sure you did too, but in the end...all we can really do is let her do what she can. I have confidence in her, anyway. I think she'll do fine when it actually comes down to it.

Of course. I think she's more concerned about us than she is about herself, though. So...one of the best things we can do for her is watch our own backs, and everyone else's.

Honestly, just looking at it and holding it, I'd say you did a remarkably good job for someone who isn't familiar with its type.

Yeah, but...I'm still worried about her, too. I mean, I KNOW she'll be...okay in the end, no matter what happens, but that doesn't mean I don't want her to just...not get hurt in the first place. You know? ...I think she thinks that's dumb. I can't really help it, though.

I sort of get the same impression, and I'm not sure why she thinks it's dumb. ...I suppose I would find it strange if someone were concerned about my well-being, so I suppose it's not that odd. But she knows we care about her. Why wouldn't it make sense that we don't want her to be hurt?
