There’s a vineyard on this island. On the other side, away from town. What the hell. Clubs, bars, hotels, a pretty fucking decent food market, and a vineyard.

Can we never leave?

Unrelated, but – turkey, ham, or both?

Oh, and I need a head count. Mashiro-san, you guys are staying through Thursday at least, right?? ...And you, Ace?

[identity profile] strayswordsman.livejournal.com 2009-11-25 09:05 am (UTC)(link)
Che. I'm so sure.

...What, seriously? How do you know we can trust them if they haven't put their lives on the line?

She was humoring you; I'm miles better. This—what is it, Latin?—Latin style of dancing is less dumb than the rest of 'em that I've seen. You have a problem with moving your hips? HAH!

Waltzing, urgh, now there's a dance for dandies. Don't think I've seen swing, though.

[identity profile] serving-love.livejournal.com 2009-11-25 09:30 am (UTC)(link)
You trust Luffy, don’t you? He’s the one who invited them on. Besides that…I don’t really have an answer for you. They’ve been here for months, guess the trust just…happened.

The hell she was! I don’t have a PROBLEM doing all the hip stuff, I’m just…not as big a fan of it as I am other styles! And you wanna talk about waltzing being for dandies, have you SEEN the way you look when you’re swiveling your ass all over the goddamn place with that samba footwork??

Swing dancing’s like…less hips, more quick footwork, more casual, and less…swishy looking. More arm stuff, too – spinning, catching, that sort of thing.

[identity profile] strayswordsman.livejournal.com 2009-11-25 09:50 am (UTC)(link)
I trust Luffy almost more than myself. So. Hm.

Oh shut up, the hell are you watching my ass for, anyway. The tricky footwork is half of what makes it even a little interesting.

...Though I could do with less swishy hip shit, come to think of it. Hn. Tango looked a little better in that respect...You gonna demonstrate swing tonight, cook?

Yeah, see? Trust me, I had all the same doubts when he first joined. I actually... Well. A couple of us left for a few days. Not that I'm proud of that.

........Oi, I wasn't-- Don't misconstrue things, it's not like -- I mean, I wasn't STARING or some shit like that!

The tango is...much more intense. The leg work on that is kinda tricky, too, from what I've seen - at least for girls. I don't really know that one all that well. Sure, I can swing dance tonight. I'll see if I can rope George-san into doing it with me. Seriously, it's just - you know what? It's fun. Swing dancing is more fun than a lot of other styles.

[identity profile] strayswordsman.livejournal.com 2009-11-25 10:26 am (UTC)(link)
...What? People left?

[identity profile] serving-love.livejournal.com 2009-11-25 01:48 pm (UTC)(link)
...No, not like...not like LEFT left, we just went away for a few days. Nami-san, Usopp, Chopper, and I, we went to visit my brother - yeah, I have a brother, by the way. But I just....needed to fucking cool off before Lucci came on board. Everyone kept saying shit like...how if we could bring Robin-chan and Franky on so easily, then we should be able to do it with Lucci, and trust Luffy’s judgment, and blah fucking blah. It was such a load of bull. And none of us even knew Luffy and Lucci had become FRIENDS or whatever, so we were totally blindsided which is just...so fucking typical of Luffy--

...

But anyway. We weren't even gone a week. Just three or four days, I think.

[identity profile] strayswordsman.livejournal.com 2009-11-25 10:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Hmm. I guess that's...understandable. Luffy knew it was just temporary, right? He must've expected some kinda reaction, it's not really the same as Robin and Franky.

...Since when do you have a brother?

[identity profile] serving-love.livejournal.com 2009-11-26 02:08 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, he knew. We all made sure he knew we'd definitely be back. And it's not the same thing at all, which is why it pissed me off so much that people kept insisting it was.

Mm...since a little less than a year ago? Heh. He was this rich kid who was sailing around with a bunch of other rich kids and somehow we found out... Anyway, he went back home. The pirate life didn't really suit him. They had a freaking cruise ship.

[identity profile] strayswordsman.livejournal.com 2009-11-26 03:08 am (UTC)(link)
Well, good. And what business did other people have saying anything at all?

Huh. Crazier things have happened on the Grand Line, I guess...Not a fighter, eh?

[identity profile] serving-love.livejournal.com 2009-11-26 03:22 am (UTC)(link)
Shit, haven't you realized yet how people are around here? Think they can butt in on everyone's business. Ace gave me a whole fucking lecture and I completely flipped out on him for it. Even Robin-chan tried telling me it was the same as when she joined us.

He actually has a pretty damn good kick! We tried training him, but... Didn't catch. Believe it or not, he's almost worse around women than I am, just top that off with a little not believing in violence and you got Tamaki.

[identity profile] strayswordsman.livejournal.com 2009-11-26 04:02 am (UTC)(link)
So basically everyone is a busybody. Like you. Great. Robin did? That seems...weird.

Worse? I find that hard to believe. And don't know how he's survived so long "not believing in violence," what the hell. But whatever, be interesting to meet him I guess.

[identity profile] serving-love.livejournal.com 2009-11-26 05:06 am (UTC)(link)
At least I don't stick my nose in people's lives when I don't know them. Yeah, she did. Pissed me off. Shocker, huh?

...He's on Lucci's post! What the hell, timing.

[identity profile] strayswordsman.livejournal.com 2009-11-26 05:20 am (UTC)(link)
True. Ehh, but doesn't she have more of a right to be pissed at him than anyone else on this crew?

Hn. Maybe I'll say hi then.

[identity profile] serving-love.livejournal.com 2009-11-26 05:30 am (UTC)(link)
That's what I thought, I figured Luffy was being insensitive inviting him on. I mean, she's never really warmed up to him, so. I dunno.

He's the other slightly overdramatic blonde.

[identity profile] strayswordsman.livejournal.com 2009-11-26 05:49 am (UTC)(link)
Well, he's the captain, n'I guess it worked out. Things can't be that tense with those two, I've seen those two talking around, sometimes. Don't know about what, though.

I see 'im. Jeez, he looks like you. And even seems to act—well, okay, maybe like you on sugar high.

oh no, he's perilously close to being not-dense, ABORT! ABORT!

[identity profile] strayswordsman.livejournal.com 2009-11-25 10:27 am (UTC)(link)
I know that, moro—...Huh. You're being weirdly defensive.

Have you met me, cook? I like intense.

...Think I'll ask Michiko if she knows tango. Anyway, fun, huh? And casual, hm. Watching tonight should be interesting, then.
Edited 2009-11-25 11:02 (UTC)

GAAAAASP OH NOES!! /so smooth Sanji

[identity profile] serving-love.livejournal.com 2009-11-25 02:06 pm (UTC)(link)
...No, I’m not! Shut up about it already!! MOVING ON.

Yeah, I meant like...romantic kinda intense. Sort of. Passionate! Maybe that’s the word I was looking for. But I guess you got Michiko-chan to teach you...?

Interesting, huh - so was it?

DANGER AVERTED BY THE POWER OF OBLIVIOUSNESS! \o/

[identity profile] strayswordsman.livejournal.com 2009-11-25 10:27 pm (UTC)(link)
...Oh, sure cook, I get it. Staring at Malandro, huh?

Passionate's a better word than romantic. Pft, Michiko called it a "sexy dance." Yeah, well, she didn't know a lot either, but I think we almost had it down towards the end.

Mm-hm. Not my kinda thing, but suits you, I guess. Looked like you knew what you were doing, anyway.

Haaaahahahaha. \o/

[identity profile] serving-love.livejournal.com 2009-11-26 02:24 am (UTC)(link)
......Yes. Obviously.

Yeah, well. That's what it is. That's why people say shit like...it takes two to tango, or that you're doing the horizontal tango.

I've been dancing like that for years, I love it. We have to find something that actually suits you.

[identity profile] strayswordsman.livejournal.com 2009-11-26 02:32 am (UTC)(link)
You know she's taken, right?

...Oh. Huh.

No we don't, s'not like I'm gonna be dancing after this island, and after Michiko leaves.

[identity profile] serving-love.livejournal.com 2009-11-26 02:47 am (UTC)(link)
I...sort of guessed. When she was so insistent about going after this person of hers.

Heh. So yep. Sex to music, that's the tango.

It's not like there won't be other clubs.

[identity profile] strayswordsman.livejournal.com 2009-11-26 03:33 am (UTC)(link)
Right, that's the one.

...Yeah, except not, 'cause I danced it with her and it wasn't weird.

You're mistakenly thinking I want to go dance.

[identity profile] serving-love.livejournal.com 2009-11-26 03:39 am (UTC)(link)
Figures.

Why would it have to be weird?

Nothing mistakenly about it, I know you'd bitch if we ever tried to drag you out again. But in the end it wouldn't be all THAT bad.

[identity profile] strayswordsman.livejournal.com 2009-11-26 04:09 am (UTC)(link)
Disappointed?

...Huh?

Right. Robin says she's no good at partnered dances and I don't wanna dance with George. Maybe Nami, but still, it's a waste of time.

[identity profile] serving-love.livejournal.com 2009-11-26 05:03 am (UTC)(link)
Think I'll live.

You said it wasn't weird! Just saying, I don't know why it would've been anyway.

Because anything that isn't training, eating, or sleeping is a waste of time, right?

/STARES
