THE AWESOME BIRTHDAY PARTY LOG OF BIRTHDAY AWESOMENESS~

What started out as a ~SURPRISE~ joint birthday party for Usopp and Tamaki has since exploded to include Luffy, Mori, and EVERYONE ELSE WHO HAS A BIRTHDAY IN APRIL AND MAY!! Welcome to the Straw Hat Crew and Company's ships, the Thousand Sunny and the S.S. Haruhi the Second! The party spans both of them and the decorations are designed to reflect the season. Enjoy the beautiful sakura trees that grace each ship's decks, spend time beneath the lanterns and twinkling lights, and come dressed in your best yukata!

There's a banquet fit for a king - or several kings, this is Luffy's party, too, after all - and don't ask how it got there because Sanji still can't cook properly, BUT ENJOY THE FOOD ANYWAY. The dessert table is a sight to behold, there's gotta be at least fifteen cakes on that thing...

So eat, drink, be merry, and most importantly, HAVE FUN!!!

YOU'RE the problem. *tosses the bowl and spatula onto the counter, then wipes his hands off on the towel he had slung over his shoulder* Here's the deal, kid. I don't wanna hug you. But I don't wanna not be able to cook even less. *cracks his knuckles like he's gearing up for some big battle or something* So we're just gonna have to get this over with.

"Says you." Killua stuck his tongue out at the older man cheekily. Did people normally get ready for hugs like that? He only got that one from Gon's Aunt Mito and the one from Gon that one time so maybe some people did it like that. "Let's talk about this, I'm sure we can find another way..." Gon always did, where was Gon when you needed him? He continued that steady edging away.

If there was another way, I'm sure someone else would've found it by now. *takes another step towards him, trying to figure out how to do this* Just... *scowls, awkwardly holding up his arms* Get the fuck over here already!

Killua is actually having a bit of fun now. He can see the guy look at how far it is to the door still and he's ready as soon as he lunges, darting up and out of the way, climbing the corner and clearly thinking this is a great new game. "Woah, oops, nice try pops."

Killua's grin widens even more and he hops from one foot to the other. "If you can get it from me, I'll give it back." He stretched his arms and then bent his knees looking amused. "Never know around here."

Killua drops to his knees to duck Sanji's reaching arms. "Yeah but I'm not in any huge hurry. I mean, my power's cool but unless we're taking on someone really strong I don't actually need it."

*redirects his arms to plant his hands on the ground, falling into a crouch and swinging a leg around to theoretically sweep Killua's feet out from under him* Well I actually need mine!

Unfortunately for the both of them Killua was solidly on one knee and one foot so when Sanji's kick connected with enough force to shatter a normal femur there was more resistance in Killua's leg and the only thing keeping IT from shattering was hatsu. Still, a high pitched squealy sound built up from Killua's throat. "AAAARGH that HURT! Jesus what the hell man?! You hiding frikkin iron in there?" he could be such a whiner.

*grunts, narrowing his eyes when he sees that his kick didn't do what it was supposed to >\* Wouldn't have to kick your ass if you'd just- *turns, still in a crouch, and braces his feet on the ground so he can push off, once again lunging forward with his arms extended* -stop being a brat and let me hug you!!

That earns another stuck out tongue from Killua. "You're not gonna kick my ass anyway." He moves to stand, one hand reaching up for the counter when Sanji nails him. His whole hand hits the bowl of fail cake knocking it over on BOTH of them. "ARGH!! STOP THAT! Get offa me!"

*crashes to the ground, cake mix all in his hair and his arms around Killua's waist - which is the important part, of course, and overrules the initial horror of CAKE MIX IN HAIR* Hell yes, ha! You thought you could fucking dodge again- *realizes he's still got Killua crushed under him* ...Oh right, shit, sorry.

*sits up abruptly, releasing Killua, and just sort of stares at his hands for a minute* Did that work?

He's coated in the nastiest cake mix batter he's ever tasted. "Seriously how can you mess up a cake mix man it tastes like mold." Killua sits up and wipes sludge from his eyes looking sulky. "I dunno, try to make something. I won't be able to tell because I can actually cook without making it taste like sewage."

*ignores the cracks about his fail cooking, fully prepared to pretend that entire fiasco never actually happened* You're right. Yeah. Make something. Good idea. *jumps up, that manic look back in his eye again as he looks around, trying to find something he HASN'T ruined yet that he can cook with*

*dashes around from cabinet to cabinet and within minutes has a perfect cake batter mixed up and poured into a baking pan*

Well now he's lost him. Killua stands and grabs a cooking towel to towel his head off with, then turns to watch Sanji go. He hops up to sit on the counter and wait for fresh cake. "I'd check it, make sure it doesn't taste like mold." He says helpfully, swinging his feet.
