I now present to you...

THE AWESOME BIRTHDAY PARTY LOG OF BIRTHDAY AWESOMENESS~

What started out as a ~SURPRISE~ joint birthday party for Usopp and Tamaki has since exploded to include Luffy, Mori, and EVERYONE ELSE WHO HAS A BIRTHDAY IN APRIL AND MAY!! Welcome to the Straw Hat Crew and Company's ships, the Thousand Sunny and the S.S. Haruhi the Second! The party spans both of them and the decorations are designed to reflect the season. Enjoy the beautiful sakura trees that grace each ship's decks, spend time beneath the lanterns and twinkling lights, and come dressed in your best yukata!

There's a banquet fit for a king - or several kings, this is Luffy's party, too, after all - and don't ask how it got there because Sanji still can't cook properly, BUT ENJOY THE FOOD ANYWAY. The dessert table is a sight to behold, there's gotta be at least fifteen cakes on that thing...

So eat, drink, be merry, and most importantly, HAVE FUN!!!

The journey to the Thousand Sunny had not taken Dragon nearly as long as he expected, but he was still grateful he had decided not to invite Ivankov along nonetheless. No doubt that man would have made the voyage feel twice as long as it should have.

The ship he had chosen was small and unnoticeable, particularly in the midsts of so many of the ships surrounding Luffy's. When he made his way to the lower, grass-covered deck aboard the Thousand Sunny, he kept distant from any others roaming about it. He was wearing a dark green cloak with the hood drawn over his head, and as much as he would like to have gone unnoticed, he began to realize that he must have stood out amongst the yukatas and kimonos.

Nevertheless, he was skilled enough at keeping unnoticed when needed, and Dragon had no intention of staying for any celebrations. Ivan most certainly hadn't understood his reasoning for traveling so far only to stay for so short a time, but he certainly wasn't going to explain himself - even to his close nakama. He only hoped that it would not be difficult to track down Luffy, though he doubted that boy ever had a hard time making himself known in a crowd.

Ace felt a small chill on his spine, strange now that he had his Devil Fruit back. He turned, spotted the cloaked figure and instantly scowled. Of course. Because Smoker had already jinxed him on that front, it was bound to happen. He pulled the bright hat lower over his eyes. Maybe Dragon would ignore him and that thought didn't make him as happy as he wished it would.

Dragon's eyes caught sight of the horribly bright yukata and hat across the deck and grinned in mild amusement. It had been many years since he had seen his eldest son in person, but at the moment he had no intention of actually confronting him. Ace obviously would rather he keep away after all.

Perhaps later there would be a time for facing Ace, but as it was now he was only interested in finding the youngest of his sons.

Dragon turned his eyes to the rest of the ship that he could see from where he stood, grinning to himself despite the fact that soon he would need to set out in search of Luffy.

Ace watched Dragon carefully. Maybe Smoker was right, it seemed Dragon was more interested in Luffy. That sent a torrent of frustrations his way: wanting to protect Luffy and the vague nagging feeling of wondering why Ace was less important. Bbut he calmly reasoned that maybe Dragon hadn't seen him or at least had the sense to realize that Ace wasn't in the mood to talk to him. He decided to head to the Ouran ship. If Dragon was going to be on the Thousand Sunny, then Ace no longer wanted to stay there. Besides maybe the Ouran half of the party actually had food.

Dragon only spared the briefest glances Ace's way when he departed, only noticing because of the brilliant flare of colors.

It was not long before it became apparent that surely the chances of finding Luffy on this deck, or even this ship, was slim.

Without a word he turned to leave the lawn deck to continue his search.
