THE AWESOME BIRTHDAY PARTY LOG OF BIRTHDAY AWESOMENESS~

What started out as a ~SURPRISE~ joint birthday party for Usopp and Tamaki has since exploded to include Luffy, Mori, and EVERYONE ELSE WHO HAS A BIRTHDAY IN APRIL AND MAY!! Welcome to the Straw Hat Crew and Company's ships, the Thousand Sunny and the S.S. Haruhi the Second! The party spans both of them and the decorations are designed to reflect the season. Enjoy the beautiful sakura trees that grace each ship's decks, spend time beneath the lanterns and twinkling lights, and come dressed in your best yukata!

There's a banquet fit for a king - or several kings, this is Luffy's party, too, after all - and don't ask how it got there because Sanji still can't cook properly, BUT ENJOY THE FOOD ANYWAY. The dessert table is a sight to behold, there's gotta be at least fifteen cakes on that thing...

So eat, drink, be merry, and most importantly, HAVE FUN!!!

Miss Fujioka. *nods slightly in return avoiding eye contact mulls over how to reply to the question.* I've been just fine. *standard answer* How are... things?

*doesn't notice the face* *slips into the polite conversation habits she perfected in the Host club, smiling warmly*

Things have been good here... Ah, other than the mix-ups with some people's abilities, but that seems to be happening everywhere. *tilts her head a little* Were you affected as well, Nanami-san?

*doesn't look at her, instead pretends to skim over book spines* I see... [feigns interest for a moment]

Yes, actually, I was. [pulling down a book and flipping through some pages, not really paying attention to anything printed on them, would ask her the same thing in return, but doesn't care enough]

*also pulls a book down from the shelf because the title catches her eye, and flips it open to skim the first few pages, but remembering to glance back up at Nanami periodically to let her know she's interested in the answer*

No, but at least I know who has mine now. *rubbing forehead at the thought accidentally glances over at Haruhi when she glances up, jerks head away and fidgets with book* Um...

I see. I'm sure that's a relief...

*notices Nanami's seeming discomfort and her hesitation* Is everything all right?

Not really. *states dryly; there's a chance she'll have to hug some old guy or possibly a creepy skeleton*

YESFINE! *clears throat back turned to the other girl putting book back before grabbing another one* So uh, how uh, is Mr. Hitachiin? *omg can't believe she just asked that, it sounded normal though, right?*

*tilts her head again at that statement, but doesn't ask for any elaboration*

*raises an eyebrow slightly at Nanami's emphatic declaration of fineness, but doesn't remark on that, either*

You mean Hikaru? He's doing pretty well. He and Kaoru have been teaching me how to sail. *smiles again* I'm sure he's somewhere around here, if you'd like to see him yourself.

*trying very hard to look disinterested* I see... *nearly dropping the book in hand* No! No... I'm sure he's busy.

*shakes her head* I doubt it. He always seems to have lots of free time at these parties. I'm sure I'll see him soon; I can let him know you're here. *smiles*

*thinks this girl should learn to read the mood* No, that's quite alright, I'm sure he'd just find some new way to torment me anyway.

*sighs* Ah. Sorry about that, Nanami-san. I apologize for him. *is getting used to having to say this*
