(no subject)

...These kittens are getting pretty damn mobile. They're gonna be all over the freaking place soon.

Anyway, why the hell's it so quiet tonight? Even the sea's quiet, there ain't a shitty breeze or nothing. S'weird. Anyone wanna drink or something? I was thinking of...I dunno, making cookies maybe. Possibly. Who knows.

Either way, I'll be in the galley.

...Not really. Hard to tell on the Grand Line. Usually when the weather starts stabilizing it means an island ain't too far away, but right now it's just...not doing anything. So I dunno.

Why?

It has been some time since I have last visited.

Hrm. I told Vivi I would soon, circumstances permitting, to teach her how to play Go and Cho-han.

Not like we have to be docked somewhere for you to visit. You're welcome on Sunny whenever the hell you like.

[identity profile] ishikawajuusan.livejournal.com 2010-05-30 06:42 am (UTC)(link)
I was considering it also in terms of what I would most prefer.

Hm. I do not believe it is possible for me to grow weary of eating ramen.

You're assuming it'd be easy to find wherever we dock. But yeah, whatever you prefer!

Heh, well it's a fucking easy meal to whip up!

One among dozens of log poses Lupin left behind should be useful.

I am surprised. Then again, 'easy' is relative.

[identity profile] serving-love.livejournal.com 2010-05-30 07:15 am (UTC)(link)
Those'll only get you to the next island, though. Not anywhere specific. But hell, you're usually not THAT far from us, so yeah, you'd probably get wherever it was pretty quickly.

I'll definitely make it when you're here.

[identity profile] lshikawa-juusan.livejournal.com 2010-05-30 07:34 am (UTC)(link)
Apologies; I meant to refer to these compasses, or 'poses' in general. There are a number of eternal poses left in my possession.

A rocket-propelled ship has its benefits.

I will look forward to it.

[identity profile] serving-love.livejournal.com 2010-05-30 07:43 am (UTC)(link)
Ohhh. Well that's convenient.

Ha, yeah, I bet.

Same! It'll be good to have you around.

Lupin had a penchant for managing a situation being as well-prepared as possible.

Mn. Perhaps you or your nakama will enjoy playing Cho-han, when I show Vivi how it is played. The game is very simple in nature and best involves a larger number of participants.

[identity profile] serving-love.livejournal.com 2010-05-30 09:31 pm (UTC)(link)
My nakama will play anything. Never heard of Cho-han, though. What is it?

[identity profile] lshikawa-juusan.livejournal.com 2010-05-31 12:49 am (UTC)(link)
It is a game of chance. A pair of dice are shaken within a cup, after which the cup is then turned face-down with the dice inside. One must guess whether the sum of the numbers showing on the dice will be cho or han, even or odd, respectively, and bets are taken. When the winner or winners are revealed, the earnings are divided among them and the game begins anew.
