At least we've cleaned in there; that's more than anyone else has done after doing, well, anything anywhere on this ship.

Yes, there is. But between Chopper being in there a lot of the time and the fact that people use it as a hallway to the galley when it isn't occupied, there's not much time to use it. Also, Chopper would know, and tiny reindeer glares are awkward.

It'd be free at night. But...yeah, you're right. He'd know.

Besides, that bed isn't particularly sturdy for doing anything in besides lying still.

And the library has a couch that probably isn't going to break. I can take that.

Well I wasn't saying don't, you just mentioned missing beds.

I miss sleeping in one. And other things, but... I suppose I just miss having my own room sometimes, really. Most of the time it doesn't bother me; it's just that even in basic training they kept two beds on either side of me empty. Which was nice, because I could take the extra pillows and the sheets when it was cold and I didn't have anyone snoring in my ear.

Ah...yeah, I get that. I had my own room on the Baratie, so. God, I barely even remember what that was like.

I can tell you what it's like: Quiet. You can't hear anyone snoring or turning over to get comfortable every three minutes or getting up to use the bathroom. You get to decide when you're done reading and turn the light off without anyone yelling at you that they're trying to sleep. In fact, you can do whatever you want without incurring comment from bystanders, and no one mocks you for sleeping in or thinks it's acceptable to jump on you in order to wake you up. Also, you can leave things sitting out without having to worry about them getting stolen or broken, and if you don't clean up right away, no one complains.

Hm. I guess. I mean, yeah, there are times when I think it'd be nice to have that kind of privacy again. But...I don't mind being with the others. It's kind of...I dunno. Comforting. Knowing they're there.

Well, it's warmer. Having a lot of people in there as opposed to it being an empty room.

...I don't miss it all the time, though.

Warmer, but also fucking stuffy when we're near summer islands. Ah well. Maybe one day we'll steal a cruise ship or something. That'd certainly take care of things.

I don't mind stuffy; it's the cold I can't stand.

And we could have a fleet. That would be useful.

I can't imagine having a fleet.

I don't know who would steer the other ship.

We'd have to find another navigator, I guess. Nami-san can't leave Sunny, I won't let her!

We'd have to have a whole other crew that just sailed with us, I suppose.
