Well, let's see... It all started one day while I was walking home from school. It was Winter time, just an everyday event, y'know? And then out of no where, a man with orange skin and cat eyes appears and tells me that he had to kill me!

I was lucky to avoid getting hurt thanks to a nice man I hadn't ever met... So, I went to school and tried to get my mind off it, but the strange man... he said some weird things... Like, that I was a 'Kushinada'. I went to the library to look into it, and that's where everything that could possibly go wrong did!

As I was reading in the library, a giant monster made out of vines or tree or whatever starts smashing up my school! It wants to kill me, too, can you believe it? And that guy with the cat eyes came back to do the same! So I've got these two crazy monsters running after me hellbent on killing me.

They tell me I'm the Kushinada, the ancestor of the princess from an old Japanese folk tale who's blood kept the monsters all sealed away. However, I had a twin sister I hadn't even heard of... and as it turns out, because the Kushinada's power was divided into two people at birth, the monsters were awakened from their slumber.

The man with the cat eyes wanted to kill me, but he was actually supposed to be the protector of the Kushinada. He loved my sister, and when she died.... I guess he didn't see any point in continuing protecting someone if it meant he couldn't live a normal life. But in the end, he rescued me from the giant tree monster.

I was told afterward that it was all true, and that if the Aragami couldn't be taken care of, I would be sacrificed in order to lock them away once more.
