Just because you had someone to spend Valentine's Day with doesn't mean everyone else on the crew did. They still needed to eat. And I wanted to make that chocolate anyway. It'd be different if we were at an island, but - we had all night, so it was fine.

...I don't think either of us asked. I just—assumed. Told him to ignore all you idiots going on about romantic crap and said we could hang out instead, and he was all for it.

...jeez, you cook three meals a day, EVERY day, plus all the snacks and baking and stuff. I don't think anyone would get too upset if you took part of a day off every once in a while. Well. Except Luffy, but he doesn't count.

Anyway, it wasn't FANCY. I made it by myself, it was just...well, it turned out pretty good, actually. But it still wasn't fancy. And I KNOW. I know how you are about your kitchen, so...don't worry. It's not like I wouldn't ask. I like my bones unbroken.

I take days off when we're at islands! Just...Valentine's Day, I dunno, it doesn't seem appropriate. I couldn't let Robin-chan or Nami-san feel left out!
