There’s a vineyard on this island. On the other side, away from town. What the hell. Clubs, bars, hotels, a pretty fucking decent food market, and a vineyard.

Can we never leave?

Unrelated, but – turkey, ham, or both?

Oh, and I need a head count. Mashiro-san, you guys are staying through Thursday at least, right?? ...And you, Ace?

Exactly. Especially with the holidays coming up.

[identity profile] serving-love.livejournal.com 2009-11-24 08:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Might even make good gifts for people! If they appreciate fine wine, anyway.

[identity profile] time-exorcist.livejournal.com 2009-11-24 10:53 pm (UTC)(link)
I think most people would appreciate alcohol, whether it be fine or not.

[identity profile] serving-love.livejournal.com 2009-11-24 11:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Ha! That's a very good point, my dear~

[identity profile] serving-love.livejournal.com 2009-11-25 12:01 am (UTC)(link)
Why type of wine or what type of alcohol?

[identity profile] serving-love.livejournal.com 2009-11-25 12:06 am (UTC)(link)
Red wine and fine alcohol.

[identity profile] time-exorcist.livejournal.com 2009-11-25 12:10 am (UTC)(link)
Heh. That makes you the second man I've ever met that prefers wine over beer.

[identity profile] serving-love.livejournal.com 2009-11-25 12:19 am (UTC)(link)
Really? Wine is better suited to a more refined pallet. It definitely compliments food better!

[identity profile] time-exorcist.livejournal.com 2009-11-25 12:21 am (UTC)(link)
See there I would have to disagree. I like beer with my food, but I suppose each of us have our own opinions.

[identity profile] serving-love.livejournal.com 2009-11-25 12:34 am (UTC)(link)
Mm, beer is good with certain things, certainly. But wine is better at bringing out specific flavors in the meal - you can have an entirely different experience with whatever you're eating depending on the type of wine you're drinking! But they're both good, in the end.

[identity profile] time-exorcist.livejournal.com 2009-11-25 12:38 am (UTC)(link)
Hm. I guess I'll have to take you're word for it, considering you are a chef and all. I'll make sure to try it sometime.

[identity profile] serving-love.livejournal.com 2009-11-25 12:43 am (UTC)(link)
Well if you ever need any suggestions, I'd be more than happy to pass some good combinations along!

[identity profile] time-exorcist.livejournal.com 2009-11-25 12:49 am (UTC)(link)
We're having a big celebration on the Vongola tomorrow, and I'm sure someone will break out the wine. Any suggestions would be well appreciated.

[identity profile] serving-love.livejournal.com 2009-11-25 01:14 am (UTC)(link)
I'll email you some!

What sort of celebration are you having?

[identity profile] time-exorcist.livejournal.com 2009-11-25 01:18 am (UTC)(link)
Haru, female Haru to be precise, wanted to have something like Thanksgiving to celebrate, since she heard it was coming up. The Japanese culture had something similar to it, so she figured, why not combine and celebrate?

[identity profile] serving-love.livejournal.com 2009-11-25 01:23 am (UTC)(link)
Ah, we're doing Thanksgiving, too! Apparently they used to have it in George-san's world, and America is here, too, so. We're doing it on Thursday, though.

[identity profile] time-exorcist.livejournal.com 2009-11-25 01:27 am (UTC)(link)
I believe we are doing it Thursday as well. What a coincidence! I'll make sure to toast your crew and guests at our dinner.

[identity profile] serving-love.livejournal.com 2009-11-25 01:29 am (UTC)(link)
And we'll do the same for your crew at ours!

[identity profile] time-exorcist.livejournal.com 2009-11-25 01:40 am (UTC)(link)
Wonderful!
