I would like to, yes. The curiosity is killing me. And hell if I know. I prefer it when people are upfront. I rarely accept that they are actually for a change doing so when it happens, but I still greatly prefer it. I even prefer the pretending to be upfront. Better to deal with.

Look it's pretty simple. Jyabura's frames his grin. It sets it off. It highlights the exact features that get expressed. It doesn't work quite as well when he's grumpy, it just doesn't help anything, maybe makes him look more menacing but mostly like he's in the wrong place wrong time. But that works for him, that's the attitude he wants to convey when he's grumpy anyway. And when he's grinning, the fu manchu completely highlights it and frames it and offsets it perfectly. It accentuates it, brightens it, adds to it. Yours has the opposite effect. It's distracting. It pulls the eyes lower so people almost miss out on the best parts of the grin as if you don't want anyone to notice you're actually smiling for a change. It works best when you're confused and that doesn't really seem like the kind of look you should want to convey on a regular basis. Your style detracts from the smile even when you're being smug even though that's the point you should flaunt looking most confident.
